  1. Thank you for all the inspo and I love your kitchen! Your family are well set for the time you are away so you can sleep easy when you are on your trip with your sister. Many thanks from England.:)

  2. I bit of a warning on pouring pasta water down the drain: PVC pipes are rated for about 140F and boiled pasta water is over 200F. Normally, you'll fish out your pasta with a spider then allow the water to cool for about 10 min but I understand if that's inconvenient. You can also try letting your sink water get as cold as possible then pour your pasta water, but keep the pouring area as far away from the drain as possible so that the water has time to cool down before going down the drain.

  3. Love watching your videos. So glad to hear about your vacation. Have you ever heard of the documentary "I'll Push You"? Best documentary I have ever seen. It's about a friend the pushes his friend along the Camino. Great watch and I think your kids would enjoy it too.

  4. Love your channel!! Love your kitchen!! Everything looks delicious and I was wondering what brand of flour tortillas you used for the enchiladas? Or are they homemade? Have a wonderful trip!!

  5. Ahh! Enjoy your trip! I haven't been, but I have friends who have backpacked along the Camino. You are inspiring me to get motivated and start filling our freezer with meals for when our little girl arrives in the fall. ❤

  6. So glad you came to my country meet you sister. I hope you visit my city (Lisbon). I love so much you videos ❤

  7. Wonderful of you to make ahead meals for your family. They all looked delicious! PS. Tell them to tent the foil over the full trays topped with cheese so it doesn't stick. I hope you have a safe and wonderful trip with your sister. God bless.

  8. Christine I just discovered your channel last night and girl have I been binging. Keep it going mama, you're so inspiring!

  9. Thank you, Christine! I feel like you took care of us all while you are away with all that good food! Yums! Have a blessed trip and take in the sites, as a fellow photographer, I hope you get some good shots! God bless you and keep you and your sister safe. 🥰

  10. I love as you are getting home from the store and trying to put things away that they are already wanting to know what's for supper lol!

  11. Its my favourite thing to cook meatballs in the oven. So much less time standing over the stove watching them cook

  12. Everything looks delicious!! I still freeze up meals for just my husband and me. Makes our grandparent life easier with all the grandkids sports, recitals etc. I just did 2 lbs of taco meat and froze in little containers and big batch of sloppy joes. They all freeze very well. And I’ve made the Pioneer Woman’s sour cream noodle bake before, pretty yummy!! Have a wonderful SAFE trip!!! ☀️☀️☀️

  13. Portugal is amazing! I hope you check out the Azores too! It's cheaper to fly from the main land. You don't want to skip the islands they are better than Hawaii. The food is different too. Also you are going peek Festa season. Hit up the Holy Ghost celebration. Free food!!!! But please make a donation. My dad is from the azores. Ps. I hope you love the food!

  14. "Happy Feast Day of St. Boniface!" I am very happy to have found your very beautiful and inspiring channel. I do not own an Instant pot, and would like to purchase the same black model you have? Thank you for all your hard work, and God bless you and your family 🌹 ❤️

  15. Hi This is all looks delicious!!! I see you using an instant pot, slow cooker and oven to cook meat. I always find this confusing….when do you use one vs the other? So many recipes online and I find things I cook don't turn out as well in the instant pot and I don't have a slow cooker. I have thought of buying a slow cooker but not sure it will be worth it. Would love to know your thoughts!

  16. Your family is blessed with delicious meals. I was woundering what brand is your food processor? It really made your work in the kitchen look easy.

  17. As a mom who has often left the country for a couple of weeks at the time to go to the other side of the world, I can really relate to this. Though my husband doesn't want me to prep food😅 so I always get a lot of basic ingredients that he can cook simple meals without a lot of shopping. But I always have 2 or 3 meals for when I just get back, because you are tired of the trip, the flight and time difference. So not only make things for during the time you are away but also for the first few days you just got back.

  18. Hello Christine,
I have a Philips pasta maker, a black one that weights the flour and tells you how much liquid is needed. I make my own pasta with freshly milled Durum wheat and eggs.
While the water is on the stove to boil I make the pasta. Also lasagna sheets. And the machine is easy to clean. Just let it dry so that the dough that is left in the machine and in the press tool falls off easily and give it a wash.
It gives me a good feeling that my children eat healthy pasta.

  19. I absolutely love your videos and content ~ family and home cooking all wholesome and genuine. Watching from Washington State 🌲!Have a great hiking adventure with your sister ~ so excited for you, and your husband is something special!
