Here is a delicious way to make French’s Green Bean Casserole. I like to substitute the usual can of cream of mushroom soup for my own cream sauce. I also like to add bacon for a heartier and smokier casserole.
INGREDIENTS
2 bls fresh breen beans
1lb pack of bacon (optional)
clove of garlic
1 pint mushrooms of your choice
small onion (optional)
3 tbls rendered bacon grease (or butter/oil of your choice)
3 tbls all purpose flour
4 cups heavy cream
1/2 tsp lemon pepper
salt to taste
container of French’s Crispy Fried Onions
9 x 13 baking dish
**Bake in a preheated oven @ 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 min
