What is guys? This is Julien , the French winemaking guy who makes wine video here on YouTube. If you’ve landed here you must be wondering when is the National Drink Wine Day, and there’s a pretty simple answer to this.
National Drink Wine Day is celebrated every year on the same date across the United States on the 18th of February. So this year in 2020 it’ll be on a Tuesday, 18th of Feb, while next year in 2021 it’ll be on a Thursday. It’s always better when it falls on a Friday like it’ll be in 2022, but hey! Good things take time to be appreciated.
Now what is the National Drink Wine Day?
Here’s how the official website of the event, nationaldrinkwineday.org, explains it: quote, “The purpose of National Drink Wine Day is to spread the love and health benefits of wine. Wine has played an important role in history, religion and relationships. We embrace the positive benefits of wine such as new friends, reduced risk of heart disease and the enhancement of food and life.” End quote.
So essentially an unofficial holiday to celebrate our favorite beverage and our friendships, that’s how I personally take it.
