The fifth installment of FIAF’s 2010 “Wine Tour de France” took place on May 10 and focused on the Loire Valley. Michael Madrigale, head sommelier at Bar Boulud, led the crowd through what he calls “France’s most diverse wine region. Home of the noble Chenin Blanc, the racy Sauvignon Blanc, and the earthy Cabernet Franc.” The series concludes on June 7 with a tasting devoted to Champagne.
