• 2 pounds white onions
• 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
• 1/4 cup mayonnaise
• 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
• 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
• Juice of 1/2 a lemon
• 6 beef hot dogs
• 4 ounces Gruyere cheese
