It's been a very long time since I was in France. I dated a French girl when I was posted to W Germany in the mid 80's. She was from Paris. When we went there to visit her parents, I was struck by the croissant. It was so delicious. We've got them here in the US, but they ain't the same thing. Loved the bistros. My very favorite was one in Nancy that did grenouille. I grew up with the critters but these were absolutely outstanding. Cheers from Tennessee
