This is their Cabernet Franc. Single vineyard fruit. Not only is the label pretty but the juice made with minimal sulphites, by Ben Marx (Winemaker)
This is one of those pretty wines that is alluring, and follows through to palate. Allowing for some decanting time to let this beauty open up and come into bloom. Much like the cover art on the label.
Cabernet Franc is one of those grapes with a rich history, being the Father grape of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon and stemming from its well known region of Basque France. Usually blended in Bordeaux styles, yet on its own it is simply delicious.
Medium bodied, bright with mouthwatering acidity. Think peppery and pretty purple flowers and juicy red fruits. So, a very Esther wine. 🍷
