Hi Bev! You putting place mats behind your dishes was the most wonderful idea I've ever seen. I have a vintage china cabinet and i have blue/white and plan white dishes in it with accent of blue glass, and silver but its just not bright enough. Bev, I had an accident on my dining table similar to yours. It was spilled liquid room scent.mi took and ironed and soft cloth and ironed and ironed. Some of it came up, but not all. It was heart-sickening. Sorry that happened to your gorgeous table. Beautiful display today, as usual❤
