How to make French hot chocolate for one in just a few steps. I fancied that viral Paris hot chocolate but didn’t want to make a whole batch of it knowing it’d be quite rich – so I experimented until I got the perfect single serving of hot chocolate.
I made it luxuriously rich but not so much that it’s overly sweet and sickly thanks to the help of a little cornflour to give it a little thickness – you can add even more chocolate instead, but this turns it into more of a ganache/chocolate sauce (absolutely fine if that’s what you like, but it becomes borderline sickly for me using this method).
