French beauty is effortless—or at least, it looks that way. Smudged liner, tousled hair, and a red lipstick that lingers like a late-night glass of wine in the Marais.

Skincare first, always. A rich cream, a dab of concealer, blush that melts in like golden hour by the Seine. In Paris, beauty isn’t about perfection—it’s a state of mind.

  1. Beauty secrets? Most of these people interviewed were so young because their beauty secret is youth.

  2. Light workout , genes , good rest , spf daily , hat , shades , less is more I agree ……. Lots of good clean alive foods too . Too much dead processed foods is not good for the skin especially as we age .

  3. Tretinoin, a hydrating serum and a moisturiser. I pat a water gel spf 50 on my face before going out. I clean my face with a salicylic acid face wash. I wear very little makeup now in my 30’s that makes me look fresher I feel. The best mascara for me is kill lash by CLIO. If you have long heavy lashes this is the way but you must use oil based makeup remover as it’s very difficult to get off otherwise. When I’m going to do a full face I work in sheer layers slowly building up, this looks more natural. And I know nobody asked I just love talking about the little things us ladies do , we are all beautiful and have our own unique little ways. 🩷

  4. Finally a real skin care talk by real people ! I just realised that nobody had 15 skin care steps as it’s shown by influencers and celebrities, they are just lying to us to pressure us buying more and more

  5. I'm an educated beauty esthetician from Sweden and I recommend to keep it simple. Wash you face with gentle products, use peeling 1-3 times a week and sunscreen everyday (i use 50spf)

Then when you get older you can add serums with vitamin, retinol. Live a happy life, eat healthy, move your body and don't expose yourself to much to the sun.
