Yeah this is amateur hour right now. Absolutely imbecilic. What the hell is the endgame here anyways,
make more money for the United States and everything else be damned!? It certainly seems that way.
Even looking at the best case scenarios, say Trump wins all of these trade wars, and the U.S. economy flourishes because of this (which seems unlikely) our worldwide relationships will be in tatters! We'll be viewed as the "Amoral" States of America for the foreseeable future. The cost is too high here, and this is INCREDIBLY damaging to our worldwide reputation. I'm all for trying to renegotiate trade deals and relationships, but when does bullying someone into submission ever help? Could see doing this to China, Russia, North Korea, and several Middle Eastern countries who are not allies. But to do this to the Europeans and the Canadians???
It could create animosity towards the United States and its citizens for years to come. Already hearing about it, where people are canceling European travel out of fear of retaliation and animosity towards American travelers and tourists.

First, we know whatever Trump says on social media will actually happen. It’s not just some petulant, impulsive, stream of consciousness rantings.
No wonder China, Russia, N Korea, Iran, all America’s adversaries, are really shaking.
And, this really will stop all the fentanyl and illegal immigrants (very low) coming from our allies in Europe! Yeah, those governments will really focus on those issues now in the face of ever-changing US tariffs.
After all, that’s what the US has been doing because of all those retaliatory tariffs. We’re stopping all our domestic fentanyl production, stopping all our shipments abroad in case they’re hiding fentanyl. We’ve even stopped all our tourists, students, diplomats, and business people traveling to Europe, in case they might become illegals.
It will do wonders for our economy and international relations.
Come on guys! Even to those who support him, you shouldn’t just say “well, I trust Trump”. You can still be informed and thoughtful on issues. And if he makes mistakes, it’s ok to be honest about them.

I mean how much European wine and Spirits do Americans drink? Not much. The shift is toward N/A and pre-made drinks in cans. Wine is mostly California and beer is mostly craft and domestic. Both going down in demand.

I think our president needs to know focus his time on these EU tariffs and let the EU negotiate the Russia -Ukraine peace talks themselves. NY state has some of the best sparkling wines and I am good as I never buy French wines or spirits.

Great news! Was just in Cambria, CA., last weekend wine tasting. Every vintner was complaining about the wine glut in California and the states. The wine makers must be celebrating now. We have excellent local distilleries here in Nevada and now they don't have to compete with the industrial production of whiskey from the EU. Fantastic news for the American liquor industry.

Stocks are owned by every country so if Trump goes on like this, he will create a very very bad economy for America! To make America great again is to create a better economy.
