  4. I liked the idea of using an apple corer for the potatoes. However, I would do it with sweet potatoes. I slow cook the leftovers after slicing them thinly, then make a puree out of that (mashed potatoes), which can be used in a souffle or made into a sweet cake/bar. Thank you for the inspiration.

  6. I never tried the potato noodles, but i do a dishe where i boil some finely chopped onion and carrot in some chicken stock, with some herbs and spices (Thyme and sage, plus some salt, pepper, garlic and paprika).
    Once the carrots are soft, i mix in the mashed potato and potato starch,, and typically some finely shredded cheese, and use this to make flat discs, like pancakes.
    Those are then fried up, until crispy on both sides. Can be a side dish, or part of a main course. Often topped with a sauce, or a gravy with meat. Shredded beef or chicken adds a nice bit, but this also works with steak.
    I also have used it with several curry dishes, and it works amazing. Even good for vegans if you use a vegetable stock and leave out the cheese. Very versatile.

  9. in the written recipe u say parsley but in the video u say dill ..which is better …then…is this how u would pickle say…cucumber or..onions…instead u use vinigar and not water…how long do u pickle that then…also overnite….thank u fo your channel i really enjoy ur videos kind regards, Hillary Durban, South Africa
