The California Association of Winegrape Growers may need to rethink their view on tariffs. Canada has already announced there will be a counter-tariff on American wine if Trump goes ahead with his tariffs of Canadian goods.
It would be interesting to know the rationale on why they think the wine industry will recover by 2030. If the Baby Boomers are the biggest driving force in wine sales, and they are already starting to age out of the market, why wouldn't it be even worse in 2030?

People are just over the pompousness of wine. Myself, I am classically studied in Europe and can talk your ear off about the tiny minutia of regions.
My favorite thing to do now? Trying out different box wines to drink on a park bench or find a restaurant with a decent house wine at a good price. I also cook 99% at home because it's higher quality ingredients with out all the unhealthy shortcuts that restaurant do.
