Today’s wine is a Super Tuscan blend, being 95% Sangiovese and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. This sustainably farmed wine was aged for 11 months in French oak before spending 3 months in the bottle before release. The winery sits in silt and clay soil about 10 miles from the Mediterranean Sea in rolling hills. Expect medium body and red berry and cherry and maybe some pepper notes.
