  1. I don't love this only because I prefer a richer custard (i.e. more eggs) than you'd get with ice cream. And I think it's too sweet! I like buttermilk french toast with only a touch of brown sugar in the custard mixture so it's got a mildly sweet, tangy flavor that goes well with syrup without feeling like you are on sugar overload.

    If I want a dessert for breakfast scenario I'm going chocolate chip pancakes with whipped cream. Lots and lots of whipped cream.

  2. Ive always only had savoury french toast…..Also your french toast gets a CHEESE apron on it whej frying?! 😃 Thats such a good idea to add cheese to a savoury french toast!! 😊😊😊
    I will try this icecrram french toast as a dessert 😊
