Red wine is sometimes considered good as it contains resveratrol which could protect your blood vessels. But the study results are not very clear with some studies suggesting it might not be really true.

But all studies show that wine even at a small dose can cause damage to the liver cells, slowly leading to fatty liver.

I am strictly against drinking wine as a social drinking tool .

  1. Dr. Pal i was about to start my wine preparation for chirstmas! Can i ask you something – is it good to drink wine made from grapes alone. Without adding any other ingredients, i was planning to make it healthy this year so is it healthy with only grapes and its natural fermentation.

  5. Only Indian doctors seem to think this way. In reality, moderate wine consumption is considered beneficial for health, but it is often misunderstood. Obviously, drinking an entire bottle in one day is harmful, just as consuming excessive amounts of buttermilk can also be bad for your health. After watching this video, I did some research and found this helpful explanation: https://youtu.be/S3vts2WPJwo?si=gZsrDtzh3cQYhlvd.
