Lovers of fine wine were out in force in Paris on Wednesday (04/06) at an auction of older vintages held by Maxim’s, one of the world’s most famous restaurants.
Eight thousand bottles were being sold off as Maxim’s cleared made room in its vast wine cellars for new vintages.
