Crown of Burgundy: A Dream Chaser’s Tale

This poetic ballad, inspired by the King of Burgundy, Henri Jayer, and the Queen of Burgundy, Lalou Bize-Leroy, celebrates the timeless legacy of Burgundy’s most prestigious vineyards. Through heartfelt lyrics and elegant melodies, the song honors the passion, perseverance, and artistry that have transformed the hills of Burgundy into a sanctuary for dreamers.

The video begins with a breathtaking sunset over Fremont Hill, the estate home of the King and Queen of Osaka’s supermarket empire, where we were graciously hosted in their estate’s guest house for this grand event. It transitions to stunning clips of our big brother, another highly esteemed wine expert and authority, Dr. Liang Fan, exploring Burgundy’s iconic vineyards, including the legendary Grand Échezeaux and Musigny at Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé, situated across from the enchanting Les Amoureuses.

Capturing the essence of wine, dreams, and resilience, the visuals blend seamlessly with the song’s message, celebrating the artistry and dedication behind the world’s finest wines. Each scene reflects Burgundy’s enduring legacy—a place where dreams are cultivated and timeless stories are written.

The video concludes with joyful moments shared among cherished friends during a magnificent Capricorn birthday celebration, hosted by my Master of Wine, Dr. Limin Hu.
