Bonjour! Welcome to a new year in the French countryside, where slow mornings and quiet moments fill our days. In this video, I’m sharing how I embrace the start of a new year—not with resolutions, but with reflection, intention-setting, and gratitude for the life I’ve built.

I walk you through the projects we’re planning for our home and garden this year, from repainting shutters to adding charm to our beloved chicken coop. These are small but meaningful ways to continue creating a space that feels warm and grounded.

Join me as I savor the little joys that make up our days: lighting a cosy fire in the fireplace, arranging flowers, spending quiet moments in the garden, baking a dessert with the children, and preparing for a festive New Year’s Eve evening.

Thank you for watching and for being part of this journey. I hope this video inspires you to find joy and peace in the simple, quiet moments of your own life.

  1. Hi. What caught my attention in your video were the cultural differences. In Brazil, Christmas decorations are only taken down after Epiphany: January 6th. I thought that this tradition was also followed in France.

  2. Happy New Year! Thank you for another peaceful and inspiring video 😊 I wondered what was the make and scent of the incense sticks please? ❤

  3. Bonjour,

  5. Happy New Year🎉🎉🎉 I just finished all your videos and I love them all, I’ll probably rewatch them until the next one. Thank you for sharing Audrey.

  6. A happy and peaceful New Year to you and your family. Thank you so much for sharing your home and your lifestyle with us, it’s calm, elegant and beautiful, I love how you add elements of nature to your decor. I’ve also been noticing your book collection, perhaps you would share a few of your favorites in another video?

    🤍

  10. We are enjoying your videos and love your Brocante finds. More of that would be amazing. Happy Nee Year from Canada. 🎉
