When I think of vegetable soup I think of a clear broth with cut up vegetables with meat. This was nice because it was pureed. I’m going to make vegetable soup your way. It’s easy and very delicious!
Looks delicious! I’m definitely going to try this.
Love your home !!! Love your soup recipe. I have made French Onion soup from beef bone broth but I'd still like to see how you do it. I make my own bread, too. Love the cutting board, I have one from my Grandmother. I also have my Great Grandmother's rolling pin she brought from Germany as a young woman to the USA in the mid 1880's. I'll be 72 in a few weeks and both pieces are my prize possessions. I inherited their love of cooking and baking for which my family is thankful. lol Love your channel, glad I found you. Even this old dog can learn new tricks. :o)
Thos is why french women don't get fat
Soup.Soup.Soup❤

I'm impressed! no veg cubes (such as Knorr!!)

@5:00 You have chickens?! I'd love to learn more about that
I've had a rough couple of weeks and your video has cheered me up so much! Thank you and bless you. 😊
I make mushroom soup and veggie soup like this, I add a bay leaf with the thyme, and add a handful of sunflower seeds for richness.
I am cooking this right now on my stove! It smells great. I need to find out where to buy such a green cabbage. 😂
Thanks for this. My wife Is from France. She grew up minutes outside of Nantes. I do all the cooking. I just made this soup and thought of you as I was peeling my carrots with my new ceramic peeler. What a difference that Is hard to imagine compared to a regular one. Highly recommend one for you and anyone else. They peel off just about half as much skin. Peace and truth beautiful people. From north of the 49th In Pumpy country.
Yes on the French onion soup! I also like to add celery to my soups. It’s as necessary as onion for a veggie soup. 😊
Love your channel!
Yes. Please show us how to make a leek tart.
I WOULD LOVE TO SEE A FRENCH ONION SOUP VIDEO PLEASE!!!!!
IT LOOKS YUMMY!!!!
❤ oh yea please more recipes 😅 love it
Oh my gosh! That looked so good, I do believe I could smell it cooking!! 👏🏻😊. It is a recipe that will definitely try.🧡
Yes to all of your video suggestions! And, I would love to see a lot more lifestyle content….love when you show the house, the property, the stables, horses, cooking, etc.
Just put this on the hob and put in just water instead of a stock cube which I usually do. It will be interesting to see the final dish as I would prefer not to use processed ingredients. Thank you for this ❤
Yes to French onion soup.
Looks delicious.
Yes please
I love hot soup in winter with cheese melted on toast. I make a big pot and freeze half of it for days when I'm too lazy to cook or didn't have time to shop. I'd love to see more of your recipe, Marie-Anne.
I wish we could see your chickens. I can't imagine how they'd eat a big cabbage leaf or carrots. I picture them daintily pecking at cracked corn and bugs.
I would love to see you make the leek tart and I am curious to compare my French onion soup recipe to your authentic one!
Love any veggie recipes-especially soup!
I love your rosemary bush. Impressive
It looks absolutely delicious 😋 I really want to make it!
Yes❤ Any and alll recipes please❤ oh my I love your fur babies❤🐶🐶
Oh yes please, one of my favourites – French onion soup.
Yes please do a video on "French" onion soup. Loved this video, I have a question though; when using a tureen to serve the soup, don't you warm it up first before putting the soup in it so the soup does not lose so much heat? I would fill the tureen with hot water before-hand and empty the water out when ready to deposit the soup so it stays hot. What do you think?
Leek tart, please!😊
Putting a towel under the cutting board will help stabilize it and no scary slips with a knife.
Yes to the leek tart SVP
Cabbage does not look as nutritious and natural like that in the supermarket at where I am. And, yes, to a video of your recipe of onion soup and leek tart, please!
❤❤❤
If I make soup with whatever veg I find in the fridge, I call it “fridge soup”. I make French onion soup especially if someone in the family has a sniffle or a cold. I like leek and potato soup. Not so keen on minestrone but make it occasionally.
Yes please , leek tart and onion soup
Thank you for posting this. I grew up eating potage, thanks to my late French parents, and it is still a simple favorite of mine/my siblings. Like you, my father used to also say, "clean as you go". Always love your videos.
Love this recipe! Reminds me of the kind of cooking my French Grandmother did. Fresh, simple and oh so good! Merci!
I will definitely cook this delicious looking vegetable soup. Please, show the French onion soup!
Leeks, celery, some lentils, carrots, 1 small sweet potato, a medium potato, mixed herbs, 2 cloves crushed garlic, chicken stock. Salt & black pepper to taste. Add some flash fried slices of chorizo. I always clean as I go; my kitchen is minute so I have to keep it tidy. I cut it all into even chunks and leave it chunky, so its like veg stew, lovely served with a crust of bread and a bit of cheese grated on top. Yours looks delicious!
I use a large stick blender inside pan these days …. Saves on washing up….
Lovely video I could almost smell it after you blended and poured it seeing the steam come off I imagined dipping a piece of crusty bread followed by some lovely red wine . ❤
This looks beautiful and I will make it this evening. Yes please to both leek tart and French onion soup videos.
Please make French Onion soup.
