  1. We had to appeal to the manager once when the bartender refused to accept an out of state license (long before Real ID) or my passport which was much more stringent and had anti forgery elements even then.

  2. USA – The only country that denies its soldiers a beer before they turn 21. They may die before the turn 21, though. Yeeehaaaww!

  3. One time i went to McDonald's and got chicken nuggets, drove all the way home, and found a burnt cookie in the chicken nugget box, drove all the way back and they didnt give me a coupon or anything!!!!😢

  4. Hell no. If you take up an hour of my time and the best you can offer is a 5% off discount, I’m getting a free drink AND meal whatever they have cause that is such an inconvenience to me personally

  5. I've lived in America all my life, been to bars, theatres, concerts, etc. And not once has someone asked for my ID, even when they probably should have.

  6. Welll… I was over 30 when I visited the US for the first time… and they still wanted to see my ID when I was ordering just one beer. I was so surprised…

  7. And as long as you don’t look 12 they’ll serve you anyway, high schoolers drink beer and wine whenever they want in a bar without id check. It’s to buy bottles directly at the liquor store that’s more tricky – the buyer will have to show an id, doesn’t matter if the rest of the group is underaged tho

  8. I’ve had Walmart employees pass my ID around saying it was fake, I was buying 1 can of spray paint (I was doing an art project, I’m a teacher)

  9. Having to show your ID just to drink alcohol is wild to me. 😂 What the hell is going on in the US. The more and more i hear about this place the more i laught that theyve been convinced theyre "free" 😂
