As Universal Studios Orlando prepares to open its long-awaited Epic Universe, it’s clear the park is set to raise the bar on dining. From immersive offerings inspired by its various lands to reimagined classics, Epic Universe Orlando is revolutionizing how visitors think about theme park cuisine. Building on the success of Butterbeer and the enchanting culinary delights of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Universal Studios Orlando has mastered the art of storytelling through food. Now, this expertise is being carried into Epic Universe, where each land promises its own unique culinary identity. For example, guests exploring Super Nintendo World may find themselves sipping brightly colored mushroom elixirs or indulging in pixelated pastries that feel straight out of the Mushroom Kingdom.

Epic Universe food will also feature upscale options that appeal to foodies, offering international flavors and creative menus that rival those of fine dining establishments. For fans of Universal Studios Florida, there’s plenty to celebrate as Universal Orlando food continues to grow in sophistication. Epic Universe is set to rival even Walt Disney World in its culinary creativity. While Disney fans flock to EPCOT’s festivals, Universal’s latest park is looking to redefine the standard for theme park food. The fusion of immersive environments, attention to detail, and innovative cuisine makes Epic Universe Orlando food a game-changer. Whether you’re wandering the streets of a mythical land or diving into a dark universe, your taste buds will be on a journey of their own. With Universal Studios Orlando food taking center stage in this bold new park, Epic Universe is proving that delicious food is no longer an afterthought in the world of theme parks—it’s the star of the show.

  1. very interesting vid. i havnt looked up any of the potential restaurants for epic yet but i think food in universal is already pretty freaking good. ive been to many of the restaurants in universal and islands and have been to many of the festivals to experience that food as well. i think they put alot of time and effort into what they make and how they plan things. i dont think any sit down restaurant ive been at for universal be it in the park or city walk has been overpriced or something that a family couldn’t afford on a vacation. i feel they have pretty affordable prices compared to disney in my opinion. I also feel like many dishes if not all dishes can be easily shared.

  2. I kind of hope Orlando gets more of the Japanese Nintendo world food though I know that’s a pipe dream. the mario and luigi pancakes make me endlessly jealous. but I thought the flagpole cake in hollywood was divine, so as long as they give me my matcha fix it’ll be great I think. also what happened to the kebabs rumored for das stakehaus!! give me steak on a steak or I riot universal

  4. Another piece of news I found out recently is, shortly after Epic Universe opens , universal plans to overhaul the menu at the comic strip cafe!

  5. The family Frankenstein was originally from Switzerland. Where are the fondue, raclette, Swiss Steak, gherkin pickles, cheese boards with bread service, and cold cut sandwiches?

  6. Universal has some solid pizza offerings: the meatball pizza at minion cafe is delicious, over in superhero island they have a bbq chicken pizza, and then there’s the traditional pizza in the italian restaurant in the new york section of studios

  7. Universal food is some of the worst theme park food you can get. Maybe they will have some actually good food at the new park but they haven’t proven they can have quality food at their existing parks. I’m not optimistic about it.

  8. The dark restaurant in the French wizarding world will acc have an international menu that varies from different European countries. It will be comfort food and lots of stews etc

  9. Sals at Portafino Bay is amazing. Maybe they just replicate that at Pizza Moon.

  10. Actually I have had some really good pizza in Florida. You just got to go to ones that were opened up by New Yorkers or parts of New England.

  11. Do we know if Das Steakhaus and Burning Blade will have vegetarian options as well? I would love to eat there but I only eat halal and there are other people with other restrictions(kosher, vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, etc)

  12. Revolutionizing? Hell no. This all seems like they’re completely phoning it in. Nothing even at the level of the crepe stand is pathetic.

Was hoping for Epcot standards at the minimum.

  13. The challenge with pizza is that there are vastly different regional styles and expectations: New York, Chicago, Neapolitan, New Haven, California… So there's plenty for everyone to not like. When they make a single pizza that tries to "satisfy" everybody it's a very bland and uninspired.

If they could offer different styles of pizza in the same restaurant (e.g., "stations"), which does require different cooking methods including conveyor oven, wood-fire, coal-fire, guests can order the kind of pizza they want…and they may come back many times to try the different styles.

  14. Ok , it is perfectly reasonable to do quickservice steak.
Marinated flanksteak in different styles by itself or with pitabread and vegetables, steak taco are good to

  15. We'll have to wait and see, Disney has always been better than Universal when it comes to food, Quick service and sit down restaurants.

  16. They have to knock it out of the park. The one thing I can say without a doubt Disney has over Universal is food variety and quality.

  17. French speaking people can say it correctly. Also something being in French doesn’t mean it’s cultured. Just means it’s in French 😂

  18. I live in Los Angeles and toadstool Café @ Universal Hollywood is one of my favorite restaurants in the whole city. Their mushroom soup is without a doubt the best I’ve ever had.

  19. cant wait for universal studios great britain to open in 2030 outside bedford england uk. they bought a large area of land last year 2023.

  20. If Das Stakehaus really doesn’t have steaks I can imagine the name would be changed quickly after opening because of the amount of confused people berating staff about not having steaks

  21. I can't wait for Cinnamon bread and Twisted Taters. I love Thai food. Blue Dragon sounds marvelous. There is some good pizza at Universal.

  22. I really hope they have some decent vegetarian/vegan options, at USH and USJ it feels like we’re an afterthought lol. I’ve never been to USO but I assume its menus are similar to USH/USJ but I plan to visit once Epic Universe opens.
