  1. This guy so incredibly dour! It's hard to get through this review – I can't imagine sitting through a meal with such a downer attitude.

  2. You should’ve seen Tom’s face when he saw paging Mr. tomorrow come in and the other bloggers there must be some kind of chaos going on behind the scenes. Are you jealous of Mr. paging tomorrow everybody wants to know 😅

  3. And the only blogger that told the truth was right down Main Street she said it was overprice food and believe me $22 for a piece of cake. You must be out of your mind. I think your box of Betty Crocker.

  4. Terrific honest review! I am a sucker for all the hilarious banter, comments, and quips. The one that got me most this video was at 28:00, Tom’s off mic comment on Nana enjoying the Unicorn Hot Chocolate, “very demure, very mindful”. I died laughing! 😂

  5. Always a chore watching a 40 something obese Tom with no neck, insecurely laughing at every word that comes out of his mouth, condescendingly insulting his hired minions. Despite being such an unappealing human, I love Disney content. The unrivaled ego is spectacular, without fail, always on display.

  6. Expense account, once in a lifetime event, etc. Have never been to the original locations. Can't justify those prices. There is an $8 cake slice which I will buy. That's my limit.

  7. Is there any chance that Gwendolyn Rogers worked under Frank Stitt at some point? That menu (particularly the burger) looks almost like it came straight from Chez Fonfon in Birmingham, AL. It's one of my favorite restaurants, and I'm floored by what I'm seeing here and the similarities. I half expected to see a coconut pecan cake among the desserts.

  8. It’s true it’s horrifically overpriced but I still want to go lol 😂 even though I know I’m being ripped off going with my friends next week. It does look nicely decorated though

  9. It is common for the French to serve arugula salad with an acidic dressing is because their very rich fatty foods with cheese and cream and butter needs a bit of acidity to cut the richness of the dish. The idea is you eat the salad along with the entree. It helps with that full feeling.
Also, the crunch in the butter was salt (Fleur de sel) because the Europeans use unsalted butter because the cream used in it is a higher quality cream.

  10. Yes – The Seven Greens gumbo (I got the one with sausage and chicken) at Tiana’s Palace at Disneyland was shockingly good – and a huge portion for $17.49 ($14.49 with no meat). Easily as good as gumbos I had in New Orleans (or better) and the includes going to Commander’s Palace.
Strange though this was made with a butter-roux – it’s far more common to make this type of dark gumbo with an oil-based roux.

  11. I have to say after watching your review on the food, albeit pricey, I wouldn’t mind trying it – That Margarita and Key Lime Pie for sure!
BTW: Nate did his review as did Kristen (who came in with him) on her channel WrightDownMainSt – she gave a great review, and surprisingly a bi more critical than Tom’s.

  12. Y’all are a perfect review combo! (BTW, that looks like just a lime pie, not a Key Lime pie.)

  13. Awfully noisy and echoey in there. Perhaps some noise deadening art or even tablecloths. Spending that kind of money for lunch (not in the cards for this family) I wouldn’t want to hear all those other conversations. It sounds more like a diner than an upscale restaurant.

  14. So Tom said he would go back for..

    Baratta salad ~$30
    Chicken salad sandwich ~$30
    Key lime pie ~$15

So ~$75 meal plus tax and tip for a salad, a sandwich, and a dessert…sorry I don’t see it. That doesn’t even include a drink 🤣😂🤣😂

It’s a moral thing for me. I have the money…I just rather not support a greedy owner. Let’s not forget Disney is full of excellent dining options, 2 of which are within 500ft that offer better food and value.

  15. If this was a place on a High street etc that relied on return customers or locals then this place possibly doesn't survive in the long term, but it is a place in one of, if not the most visited tourist attraction in the world where alot of people will only go once, or have an amount of "disposable holiday money" they are happy to burn through.
The noise around the prices will probably drive peoples curiosity and bring them in and whilst they are there will go what the hell we are on holiday and buy something. Is it for everyone? certainly not but does it make sense to have it somewhere like WDW where a decent amount of people seem to lose all reality for what is value for money? Absolutely.

  16. So excited to try this in a few weeks with my mom! I feel like its the perfect place to go with friends and split up the stuff thats bigger portions. Do you think they will start doing reservations soon?

  17. I had no doubt the food was fantastic. I have been to the original, but the prices at the Disney location are just outrageous. They are much higher than their other restaurants or what is available online, and those are already pretty high.

  18. I do appreciate that they are using high quality ingredients in a number of the dishes and feel like my wife and I could have a solid meal there (split the burrata, chicken salad sandwich, a slice of cake) – BUT at those prices feel like shouldn't have to navigate around the menu to feel worth it … AND as a non-local, this just doesn't feel enough to motivate me to make a trip to the Boardwalk for this. Why leave EPCOT for this at these prices?

  19. This is my most favorite honest food review yet. The dynamic with all of you shows true friendship and how Tom shouted out to Paging Mr. Morrow. More of all of this.

  20. The price don’t bother me, Like anything something is worth what someone is willing to pay. If you don’t like the price go somewhere else, I think it’s worth trying.

  21. Next time you go, check out the Chicken Velvet soup- it will blow you away, probably more than the chicken salad! It's a tradition here in Indiana, this recipe is very similar to the famous LS Ayres tea room recipe (which you can get at the Indiana State Museum at certain times of the year).
