As the basic French learners, we are often required to answer the question, ‘where are you?’ in French. And we want to replies like ‘We are at the restaurant’, ‘We are at the movies’, ‘We are at the bank’, ‘We are at the gas station’ etc. This is what we are going to learn in this basic video lesson. This lesson focuses on the replies using only the subject ‘We’ / ‘हम’

The French expression for ‘Where are you’ / ‘आप लोग कहाँ हैं?’ is
‘Où es-tu?’ (informal usage meaning ‘तू / तुम लोग कहाँ हैं?)
and
‘Où êtes-vous?’ (formal usage meaning ‘आप कहाँ हैं?’)
The replies to this question can be given by using ‘Nous sommes ……..’
Eg.,
‘Nous sommes au restaurant’
(We are at the restaurant)
(हम रेस्तरां में हैं।)
Nous sommes dans la chambre.
(We are in the room)
(हम कमरे में हैं।) etc
