I was born and raised in the South and I’ve lived there most of my life (Mississippi, Texas, Florida, Louisiana, Georgia, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Tennessee) and I’ve never seen, nor even heard of chicken fried in cornmeal.
That's "Brown Derby" pronounced "Derby" NOT "Darby!" And, while we're on the subject, that's "Chasen's" NOT "Chasers"! An iconic Hollywood favorite. Now gone.
