2018 Fontanafredda Barolo Platinum Red Wine made with Nebbiolo grape varietals (14%) from Italy. Tasting notes: medium to full bodied wine with flavors of red berries & cherries on the palate. Sweetness is moderate/low & there are hints of liquorice, oak, spice & acidity. Tannins are moderate/high and this wine begs to be paired with food versus sampled on it’s own.
