  1. I am sorry the table was a bit of a disappointment; it can be salvaged. It is impressive how much talent you have with you, especially Aumaury!
I worry the carpet under the table might make sliding chairs in and out more difficult?

  2. Consider putting in ALL the table leaves else they will not fade/ discolor at the same rate and will not match when you go to use them.

  3. Love the size and width of the table more room for decorating and the food. Warm carpet on those tiles brings it all together.

  4. Not every purchase is a bargain if it wasn’t for Amuary would you have used it for fire wood 🤣🤣🤣🤣

  5. The table is gorgeous – I love it in that room: the colour, the shine, the size. It makes the room look chateau grand. Don't hide behind scruffy stuff – MDF is not fit for a chateau table. I love the chateau to look chateau-like. With Amaury's bit of fettling, the table is a triumph. Well done Phillip!

  6. Has Philip bought expensive firewood someone needs to take away the credit card from him before Stephanie goes bankrupt

  7. Actually you’re wearing a “Dirndl”, Stephanie. A traditional Bavarian dress worn to special occasions such as the Oktoberfest which just started in Munich last Saturday. You only need an apron then it’s perfect! – And I really like the big table and the rug underneath. It looks grand and cosy at once. But it looks better with a table cloth. The red-brown colour is very prominent.

  8. The Cinderella vibes dress, Ms. Stéphanie, is lovely. The dining table 😅 drama makes me think you need a spin-off vlog 😅 documenting Amaury's quips…

  9. Bless Amaury. It feels as though Stephanie has lost control of the spending on the Chateau. Things arrive and Philip does his guilty look and is full of explanations. Take control of the spending again, Stephanie.

  10. The strange reddish coloring, and the sunglass worthy veneer were a little offputting at first. Alas, I will never question Phillips judgment again. he has the very best taste.

  11. I have retro fake mahogany dresser. it was free so we took it. his ramdma's.. but it would bleed the red color.

  12. I do heartily enjoy watching the restoration & events of your life. What keeps me coming back is how wonderful all of you are! The food was exquisite! Bravo to the gents on the successful table repair. Many blessings to all.❤

  13. Wow.PHILLIP. U DID A GREAT PURCHASE. ON THE *GIGANTIC TABLE* ITS AMAZING.🎉 GREAT AMOURY.❤ COULD PUT THE PIECES MORE SECURE…AMOURY IS VERY SKILLED A SUPER GREAT COUSIN!!! IT LOOKS SO NICE IN THAT DINING ROOM. WITH THE GORGEOUS MUMMY RUG! STEPHANIE🟢 HAVE U EVER HEARD OF *SCOTCHGUARDING A RUGG FOR SPILLAGE **?? IT REPELLS LIQUID SPILLS!! I THINK B3CAYSE IF THE RED WINES AND RED SAUCES.LIKE UR FAV. BEETS😊 IT WILL HELP. REPELL THESE ISSUES!!
MARIE….❤.IS A VERY VERY CREATIVE CHEF. HER FOOD PLATES ARE. STUNNINGLY CREATIVE 🎉

  14. You have beaten us, our table is 3,80 m long amd 1,10 m wide 😂
It's so easy for entertaining! But devorations need to be sizeable otherwise it does not look goid at all. But I guess Philippe will take care of that. Oh. I numbered the extra leaves and rotate them regularly so they all get used and I store them in the same room to avoid temperature changes. Looking forward to the first table setting!

  15. I love the new table, it looks so chic and the chairs and the rug are perfect. Well done everyone!

  16. The furniture in France is so beautiful why drive all the way to UK might have saved you some money I loved the tablecloths you used x

  17. Before I had the sound on I thought the old dining room set was the new one and TBH with you I was thinking I love that table so Country French!!! I was cooking and when I sat down to really watch to video I realized the other table was the new one and you are replacing the French Country one???!!! I am sorry I just really love your first choice but it is just my silly opin.

  18. Those Marie Antoinette plates with the pearls and cornflowers by Bernardaud are my absolute favourite. ❤️

  19. Philip could learn to refurbish and install his "finds". Excellent skill for someone interested in vintage furniture and decorating.
