INGREDIENTS
10 Eggs
2 cups dark brown sugar
2 loaves brioche bread cubed to approximately 1″ x 1 1/4″
1 stick unsalted butter melted
3 cups milk 1% or 2%
3 tablespoons white sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
INSTRUCTIONS
Prepare one day in advance (if desired):
Cut bread into cubes.
Mix butter and brown sugar together and pour into the bottom of a small roasting pan or glass dish.
Place the bread cubes in the pan, pack in tightly into one layer.
Mix eggs and milk together in a bowl. Pour over the bread and then cover and let sit overnight in the refrigerator.
When it’s time to bake:
Mix the cinnamon and sugar together and sprinkle over the top of the casserole.
Bake at 350 degrees for one hour and an extra 15 minutes if you want the crust extra crispy.
