The French are no longer the only ones to produce the best wine. Americans have become an important competitor to wines from other countries, and particularly in California, where great wines are produced.
Too bad they've put so many poisons and chemicals on the grapes and in the wine now. I can't drink it with ought getting flushed and a headache. It's actually illegal to put the ingredients on the label because of all the lobbying in D.C. This world is upside down.
25 years ago I discovered Californian wine, it was a revelation. I dabble very rarely with French or Italian wine as every time it just reminds me why I prefer Californian red wine
Fun fact: You have no idea how you get ripped off with those "California wine" 🍷 prices. You will find the imported wine from California in some German grocery stores actually cheaper than in California. 😂 But what do I know, I mostly drink vodka. 🍸 Cheap red or white wine can also be mixed with ice cold cola, which makes for an excellent drink by the way, believe it or not. 👍 It's called Cola-Rot and Cola-Weiss (Rot=red, Weiss=white).
