Ilyasi Masjid is a beautiful mosque constructed on a small piece of land in 1932, in Abbottabad Pakistan. It is one of the glorious wonders. Just the sight of this white beauty, stunning architecture, carvings & design leaves you awe struck. Peace is attained by its mesmerizing, mystic & spell binding aura. It is not only known by its historical importance and antique infrastructure but the water of the stream which is said to have healing powers give you goosebumps and also serves as a cool drink on hot summer days made it a popular spot.
This masjid is also famous for having some of the best pakoras in Pakistan. As a public place, it also offered business opportunities for pakora vendors who have been selling delicious pakoras there for centuries. The pakoras are served with a chutney that is made with tamarind, some spices, coriander, and chillies.
