There’s nothing like a good fast food example other than classic French fries. But instead of having to go to the nearest fast-food chain, this simple recipe lets you make your own in the comfort of your home. We came up with this yummy treat that’s inspired by Bojangles’ Southern-style French fries.

Ingredients
1 lb Yukon gold potatoes, peeled
1 ½ tbsp olive oil
Spice seasoning mix
1 tsp green cardamom, ground
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp chili powder
3 tsp white sugar
¼ tsp sea salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
⬇️ How to make Bojangles Copycat French Fries ⬇️
0:09 Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
0:12 Cut the potatoes into lengthwise fingers and place them into a bowl of cold water for about 10-12 minutes.
0:21 Combine the spices together in a small bowl.
0:45 Remove the potatoes from the water and dry them.
0:50 Place the fries onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
0:52 Drizzle olive oil over the fries before covering them evenly with the spice mix and mix together thoroughly.
1:03 Bake the fries for 20 minutes or until they are golden brown.
1:12 Serve with ketchup and enjoy!

Bojangles seasoning also contains celery salt but I'm skeptical about the cardamom.
