welcome to today’s video in this video we’re going to be sharing with you another one of our Paris restaurant experiences where was it how was it was it a favorite or a flop you’ll just have to wait and see and be sure to stick around to the end of the video to see the sights and sounds we’re sharing with you today are you ready I’m ready let’s go [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] we’re always the first one M feel [Music] spee [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] you come with me yes [Music] like the window nice [Music] [Music] take you [Music] love this is our favorite place favorite place in Paris last time this bread they had something they this looks [Music] amazing I know that there are there are some people that are saying right now that I’m destroying sticking but this is really good so I will enjoy it very much my gosh it’s perfectly too [Music] [Music] how is it really good really good it looks really good even though I don’t really care for surprise thank you do you want to colate on the I can just put it on no go ahead you can put C corn looks delicious I want to see you take a bite huh so you take a bite of that it’s whipped cream on the top there [Music] we hope you enjoyed that peek into the very chic and elegant Ralph Lauren restaurant one of our favorites that’s located in the heart of Paris it is nestled into a historic mansion on the boulevard sanramon this upscale eery part of the Ralph brand off offers an upscale Ambiance that combines American and Parisian sophistication and like AJ said it’s one of our favorite restaurants in Paris absolutely in fact I think that we’ve eaten there every single time that we’ve gone to Paris except for one time and the only reason we didn’t eat there that one time is because we couldn’t get a reservation we didn’t book the reservation far in advance in advance at all I think so we got to Paris and we had booked it before in Paris right so we’ve called we actually showed up one time and very first time we just walked in and we thought we could and I think we were just very lucky on that particular day because it was early and we were able to get in but like most good restaurants in Paris you need to make a reservation in fact while we were checking in for ours uh a woman and her daughter came in and they didn’t have a reservation and they couldn’t get in and they had to make a a reservation I think it was 3 days uh hence from there right but uh it’s a very popular restaurant and I think you’ll be surprised at how good it is it’s really good and to make a reservation so this is just a tip because similar to Jules ver but not anything like the experience we had with Jules bur you need to the best thing to do is to go online and book your reservation in advance and you’re going to find that it only opens up like short windows like you can’t book your reservation too far in advance because I was trying to do that I knew that we wanted to go there I knew that I needed to make the reservation in advance but it took a while for that window to open up in fact I think it wasn’t until like a week or two before that the window finally opened up because I started to think maybe maybe Ralph Ren’s not open during the time we’re there remember I was saying I don’t know why we can’t book on those particular days and then all of a sudden it opened up I think I thought maybe they were doing some renovation for the Olympics right but then all of a sudden it opened up and something new I don’t think that we had to do this previously you have to give them a credit card and if you don’t show up for your reservation they’re going to charge you €70 because it is a re relatively small place and you know the the reservations are very meaningful it’s there are a lot of people it’s a very popular restaurant yeah and in a in a very uh popular area that you can’t miss if you’re walking down Boulevard s and as you can see based upon the footage it truly is a very chic and elegant restaurant and it just speaks it just everything about it even though it’s American Cuisine really just speaks to what I Envision Paris to be which is Chic and elegant and sophisticated so that’s one of the reasons we love it but it’s meaningless you can have the most beautiful elegant sophisticated looking restaurant but then you add to that the incredible food the food is delicious and the weight staff every single time we’ve been there the weight staff has been phenomenal every single time yeah and the food has been too I mean your steak looked spectacular I mean you go to the best steak houses in the US and it’s equal to that yeah and then an interesting option that they have or something that is um a feature of this restaurant is they give you you whether you have dessert or not they give you this caramelized popcorn caramel corn and they put it in your Sunday it was actually mixed into the sunde and it was delicious I had a few tastes of Tony Sunday and it was it was really incredible like I would order that next time we go back it was so good but that caramelized corn is a is a feature of the restaurant another thing I love about Ralph’s is that every time we go there we seem to meet very interesting people sitting adjacent to Us near us uh this time it was a family from Las Vegas and the husband owned the chain of of sports themed restaurants once before the first time we went we we sat with or not with next to an international lawyer who was very interesting um American who was live had lived in Paris I think went back and forth but just a very interesting conversation and it’s just and and I think he came to the restaurant every time he came to Paris too yeah um but you just meet interesting people there well and I think that it is the type of restaurant where you’re not going to find parisians there or at least not a lot of parisians mostly Americans but I don’t care it’s worth it it’s make it a part of your trip because you will not be disappo pointed I think the reason parisians go there is they see Ralph Len and they just assume why would we go to that when we have French restaurants all over the place right you know because they don’t really know what’s inside Ralph’s right so true parisians won’t won’t go there unless they’re with Americans unless we coer them to go with us so that’s basically it for today’s video featuring Ralph’s Ralph laen restaurant in Paris and it’s open for lunch and dinner again be sure to make a reservation in advance if you’d like to check out this restaurant and if you’ve ever been to Ralph’s and you’d like to share your experience we would love to hear what you think of Ralph’s Restaurant in uh the San German area of Paris thanks for joining us today AWA avoa [Laughter] [Music] [Music] l 1. Happy birthday Thanks for bring us along on your adventures 🔥🔥🔥💅🏼💅🏼💃💃
I will go in future and tell you what I think 🤔 the food looks sumptuous I have to try.

  2. Great video! I’ve walked by there dozens of times and never realized there was such a nice restaurant there. Will definitely check it out next time we are in Paris.

  3. Have you eaten at La Tour d’Argent. Was there long ago. Extremely kind wait staff and good food and great view. Wish I could go again. And no haven’t been to Ralph Lauren restaurant. Looks lovely.

  4. I know that Tony was in the hospitality industry and the two of you appreciate the finer things of life no matter where; but I'm curious as to whether you dine or have dined at high-end restaurants in the U.S. I've been privileged to visit France about 8 times and two of the trips were all Paris, lasting about 10 days. At some point in the trip, we would be tired of French food and need U.S. style food. I noticed that the portions at Ralph's were more US sized, which means larger, than European size portions. I didn't realize that there were Ralph Lauren cafe' but I researched and there are locations in NYC, Chicago, Milan, and London (as well as perhaps elsewhere). This is actually not surprising because the fashion brands Chanel and some of the LVMH brands such as Dior and Tiffany have opened restaurants. Those establishments have their logo on food items such as pastries. Ralph's looked more low-key as far as the branding, but then old money understatement is the Lauren vibe.

  5. KJ and Tony what a lovely video~I am a huge fan of Ralph Lauren clothes~I buy on Poshmark a lot 😉 and now when I go to Paris again (which is a goal this decade) I will definitely eat there. I have been to Paris before, but it has been years. Tony's dessert looked Yummy and the meal looked delicious. I so appreciate your reviews and I think both of you are Lovely. Much love to you both. 💖🥰 PS~ KJ your dress looked so pretty on you. 🙂

  6. When you two start keeping your knife in the left hand = we'll know you've acclimatized! Thanks for bringing us along!👍😀

  7. Normally don't watch people eat 😁..but this was thoroughly enjoyable…watching two people savor delicious food! Classy place.

  8. This looks delicious and lovely, but it’s American fare. Go to one of the dozens of amazing French restaurants. Try L’ Ecrin at the Hotel Crillon for an amazing experience!

  9. It's just around the corner from the hotel we always stay in. I've walked past it so many many times but never eaten there thinking it was too American. Now' I'll make a reservation thanks to you!

  10. Who goes to a Ralph Lauren restaurant while in Paris, for God's sake? It's like those women who go to the Louis Vuitton café. Give me a break! At your age, you should know better!

  11. Happy Birthday!

The food looked great, but quite expensive. Better value at Le Procope. And there's nothing wrong with topping your steak with the Béarnaise sauce, which is a typical French way to enjoy it, of course. When in Paris, do as the Parsiens do.

  12. Hello. Is it the best restaurant in Paris? No ! According to Gault&Millau, the famous culinary critic, his cuisine is conventional, as meticulous as it is promised. However he gives it a score of 10/20. Among the best restaurants in Paris we find 114 Faubourg, Alleno Paris, Le Clarence, La Tour d'Argent.

  13. Really enjoy your videos. We love Paris but no longer travel overseas, so watching you is the next best thing! We live in Australia 🙂

  14. Looks very lovely, but, you are right, your typical Parisian wouldn’t eat there. Definitely for tourists. It’s very expensive for an average person’s budget. Maybe you could showcase some more accessible places budget wise? How about the Canal St Martin area …bit more quirky and bohemian? Le Marais? Lots of places in the 15th too. Thank you for your videos.

  15. Back home I can have all the American food I can eat and talk to Americans any time. Why would I want to come to Paris and do the same? Such great French restaurants and food here, not to mention fascinating French people to chat with and help you with your French. Au revoir -Daniel (Paris)

  16. I know this place and it is really beautiful. I guess those extremely high prices are for the ambiance they created. Ralph Lauren is not cheap to wear either. I still choke on $200 for a ribeye, even if it's for 2 people ☺

  17. Hello KJ and Tony, i have been watching a couple videos you have posted and some ideas crossed my mind. I would like to share a few with you, not all of them, just to help you in your journey. First of all i need to preface these comments by warning you that it will be different than the usual ones you read here, one of the reason is that I have been a French expat in the USA for the last 30 years… I am not sure that for you, middle call , middle age Americans from Florida, it was clever to "move" to France. In my experience, having organized exchange programs for years, that is not for everyone, especially if you cannot speak the langage. Most of the culture you may learn will be channeled through the langage, if you don t speak fluently or as it seems are not eager to learn, it will not go smoothly… Secondly, i can so much tell that you have not switched your lens to apprehend the french culture for maximum success… you still look and sound extremely Americain to me. Third, You don t drink alcohol… France is about wine and cheese to caricature, if you don t appreciate the culture of wine, Paris may not be the best place for you, especially if this decision is based on some sort of religious believes – French are very secular! It is like if I did not enjoy pop corn, hamburger and ketchup and i move to the USA to make video about food… a bit odd. Another clue,: you want to chat with the waiter… that is something that may be acceptable in the USA but in Paris, restaurant staff are very busy and focused, it's not usual for them to small talk (what i heard you sharing at the Procope for exemple). Last, what you seems to prefer is food that ressemble what you can find in the States or the way it's presented and cooked in the States… My friendly advise is to NOT move to France and if you enjoy the Eiffel tower, get yourself a first class ticket to Vegas and go eat some brisket and march mallows things in the Tower there, you will have a much better time, and avoid home sickness for sure. I hope you think about this before making a decision I can feel coming that may be catastrophique for you and your family.

  18. Thanks you two for sharing such a posh little spot which is now on my list! Merci beaucoup… a la prochaine ❤

  19. I find it surprising that an American brand name restaurant located in Paris has English fish, Dover sole, on the menu.

  20. When in Rome, etc. quid Paname! I don't doubt the quality, nor the vibe. It can be amusing to check out home style references in a new context. This is not my type Paris though. There are so many more typical and atypical places much more to my liking, much more "intime". But hey, you really enjoyed this and that's what it's all about, n'est-ce pas?
