This really Got me offguard, I almost thought he was insulting me at first 😅🤷🏼‍♂️ that’s why it’s so important to be open for different cultures to be different than ourselves and not judge, but try to understand.

If we start an interaction by judging , then we will always find most people from other cultures to be “insulting”, “bad mannered”, “weird”, “disgusting” etc.. But if we first try to understand their culture, understand their way of eating, their way of interacting, then, 100% of the times I end up falling in love with their culture, and I learn something new and fascinating 🙌✨

Also, I always find so interesting how after you notice one thing, you can’t stop seeing it everywhere!
Now that I noticed this Turkish feature 🇹🇷 it’s so much easier to understand them when they speak, because most of the time they do this signs while they speak, so even if I don’t know Turkish, I can understand what they say by reading their signs 🙌

But I have to say this is a feature of the people who live in Turkey, but many of the people in this video are not actually from Turkish descent, but Kurdish, Assyrian, Arab and also Turkish 🇹🇷

This country is spectacular 🙌🫶

people I this country make a little sound with their mouth what is this? let me show you I was traveling in Turkiye making a video about this guy and when I asked him a question he just looked at me and did this I was so confused then someone else asked him a question and he replied with words but then I asked him again and again he did this sound so I said to my friend why is he being weird to me? and she said he is just answering you the “Turkish way” the Turkish way? yes! the Turkish way! turns out Turkish people have a special way of communicating without words for example if you want to say no you do this if you don’t have money you do this and if you’re afraid you do this they have signs for everything so if you are too lazy to learn Turkish you can just learn how to communicate the Turkish way! this is Alan’s Theory keep it creative by the way this doesn’t mean OK

  1. We had a little fight over this gesture at home with my japanese husband. In japanese, it means the the worst swear word that even has no word. It is a sound that samurais used to kill eachother on the streets for. 😂😂😂

  2. Some people do it in america too, but we call it sucking your teeth. You might do it in disbelief of something somebody just said or something like that. Theres other uses too, just trying to get the broad stroke.

  3. Up north, it's a sign of being annoyed and making it multiple times in a row means that you're doing something stupid or shameful

  4. These signs are very very old from nomadic times of Turks. Especially during hunting and battle it was easier to communicate with signs. There were a lot of them but only few of them remained in modern times.

  5. Hacı çünkü Türkçe sondan eklemeli bir ve çok zor o nedenle bir hareket çok şey anlatır. For example Allah diyerek en 10 duygumuzu anlatabiliriz
    Tonlama ile
    ALLLLAAAAHH diye sevinir
    Allah Allah diye şaşırır
    Alllah diye korku şokunu atar
    VS
    Vs😂😂😂😂
