it’s homemade ice cream season y’all I make a full goat milk version cuz I can’t do cow milk so here’s my ratio roughly for every cup of milk I’m using I use one egg and just under 1/4 cup of sugar I use whole eggs and the flavor of the egg is in the white and I only use up to two whole eggs after two whole eggs I then only use the yolks normally in an ice cream recipe you use milk and cream but goat milk doesn’t separate that way so I use Liquid milk but also powdered milk to replace the cream and give that extra fat content that we need for a creamy texture and that’s 1 tbspoon of powdered milk per cup of milk that I’m using I start on super low heat so everything Cooks together and I don’t risk cooking the egg whites now the flavor for this is zanzibari vanilla beans that I got in Zanzibar myself and I only mention this cuz I’m an so the beans will get steeped in with the custard and once I take this off the heat I stir in the vanilla beans themselves I use a kitchena ice cream bowl attachment to Churn it is so luscious and I love serving this at our summer parties

I have several variations of the ice cream flavors on the channel already!
Also, goat milk got expensive so I have also made this with goat milk powder and A2 milk which is easier to digest than standard cow milk.
