some of my favorite bites of 2024 so far have been from barbette so let’s get into it this restaurant reminds me so much of Four Horsemen a wine bar with small plates a must order when you go there is the tuna toast with fermented chili and garlic chives and this is what I’m referring to and I said one of the best bites so far in 2024 but another one of my favorite bites is the anchovy and french butter if you’re scared of anchovies grow up sorry I didn’t mean to yell you no but if it is done right it’s not fishy it’s just an extra salt and also this bread was insane can’t go wrong with this got the duck fat potatoes which came with an ioli at the end of the day they are just potatoes but they’re damn good potatoes so do it that what you will I have a minor obsession with leaks anytime I see them on the menu I have to order them and then something so intriguing to me was the French omelette at dinner although there was so much butter in this I was unwell so also do what you will with that I deaf recommend the ricot nudie they’re basically like really Airy dumplings with crab and Myer lemon they were delicious I liked the olive oil seaa but it’s not a must the chickpea brought though is unique and killer you aren’t allowed to come here without getting the yellow K top with dark chocolate frosting and salt this is a perfect date night spot
