Piper Arrow III | Nuits-Saint-Georges | Avignon | Mont Blanc | Annemasse | Geneva | Nancy-Essey

This is the extended version of a video about a long weekend trip (5 days) to France with our Piper Arrow III. First stop was aerodrome de Nuits-Saint-Georges LFGZ (grass strip) with a stay at “a chateau”, Château de la Berchère, a few 1OO meters from the airfield. You can walk from the airfield to the castle. We had excellent stay at Château de la Berchère. Nuits-Saint-Georges is a beautiful town in the heart of the burgundy region, known for its production of top quality wines! We chose to do a wine tasting at wine estate Montmain with a visit to the wine cellars. Next stop was Avignon Provence Airport LFMV with visit to the beautiful city of Avignon. Avignon is full of history and full of life. Capital of the Vaucluse and the Côtes du Rhône, seat of the popes and city of art and culture, theatre, cinema, museums, big stores and little shops, Avignon is a small city that has everything a big one has. This city could strongly charm us!
After Avignon, we made a spectacular flight. We flew over Mont Ventoux and after it past the snow-capped peaks of the French Alps. The highlight was Mont Blanc. We landed at Annemasse airfield LFLI in France, located near the border with Switzerland. We visited Geneva in Switzerland. The next day we made an even more spectacular alpine flight right next to the Mont Blanc over the Chamonix valley and past spectacular glaciers and snow-capped peaks. Last stop was city of Nancy in France. We landed at Nancy-Essey airport LFSN. The city is very beautiful for a stopover.
