This was played pre Day 1 patch . I enjoyed the Game a lot but the Xbox version had a lot of issue when you shoot at an enemy you have audio delay and sometimes you get stuck in boxes where you can pick up the loot . Playtime is okay for me for first Playthrough once you know the riddles it gets to about 4 hours of playtime per Playthrough . 👻👻👻 out of 👻👻👻👻 only cause of the bugs I encountered otherwise 👻👻👻👻 Update Def. Play the game on Hard ….. doing a game movie on hard right now and the survival aspect is much better in hard mode

Man, I love AitD franchise to death but so far, 20 min in, there are so many small immersion breaking things I'd rather not see from a 2024 AAA title.

I've been looking forward to this game, really enjoyed the original series back at the day but this product seems somewhat rushed or even unfinished. Visual glitches, laggy sound, the pace is slow, also feels more natural at 150% of speed. I think I'll pass at least for now. Not gonna pay premium to do the betatesting.

I kinda hoped for different gameplay with Edward, but it's just same on both characters.
Looks like a total failure. Audio out of sync , graphics washed out, no black levels at all. Game play is repetitive. That’s not a mansion it’s more like a cottage in the middle of nowhere. They have had all this time to make this game and this is what they come up with. Looks more like a soap opera. The New Nightmare of 20 odd years ago shows this latest release the back door. What good is 4K when the video is washed out. I will hang on to my money yea nah thanks for posting you just saved me some coin

The game as Carnby feels more natural even though the areas are the same.
Play the video in 1.25x speed in the options, it speeds up the tedious slow walking without making the cutscenes sound like a chipmunk
WHAT IS WITH THE "WHOA!!!" …. biggest turn off of this game so far is every time dude sees a monster (THE SAME TYPE MONSTER 10 meters away) the same lifeless "WHOA!" must be "screamed?" or "yelled"?? or SPOKEN OR EVEN JUST SAID.. "WOA".. ugh… Black Rob does it 100times better…. but for real… I don't even know what that is but that is not an "I am scared" sound… specially that they only recorded it ONCE!!!!… ONLY ONE VARIATION???? REALLY?? couldn't he say once "aaaaa" and next "uggh that was close" next.. help mommy"???? uggghhhh…. the play trough is cool but this "WOAH" after the 4th time got VERY annoying…
