I’m on a mission to make every country’s national dish and today we’re doing france but i’ve got a better idea so i hopped on a few tubes and the eurostar and then in less than five hours i was in paris what a beautiful city but of course i’m here
To find one thing and one thing only we went to the lit brasserie and found potterview the national dish in france it’s a stewed beef stew with tender veg and this incredible broth and it’s served with pickles it wasn’t the buttery croissant that i expected but it was so delicious i’m back in

Pastries and trust me i had my fair share of these whilst i was there but you can’t go wrong when something is made so simply it’s warming comforting and really really delicious

Most of the French pastries (if not all) are from Austria, they had been imported by Marie-Antoinette, the last Queen, who was craving sweets from her home country😂. That's why it isn't considered as national, despite being one of the only countries that make the best pastries.
Anyway, I am surprised you went with pot au feu and not frog legs or herb snales, since that is the dish most French would think of as a national dish (I mean, I am half surprised, french people love it, but I personally don't find it very appetizing😂)

Only France can make a bunch of meat and vegetables in a stew sound fancy. Like this is the most basic form of cooking there is. Sure it can be delicious, but there's nothing unique.

Your food content is always a thumps up but would have been much appreciated if religious beliefs too were upholded. Its really sad ,don't know even lost the interest to scroll any other videos.
