Bonjour!

On this Easter Sunday I am taking you to one of my favorite brocante shops! This is a really nice curated brocante with incredible prices and the most lovely owner. This shop is called “La Boutique de Nolay” and you’ll find it in the center of the charming wine village of Nolay.

Please comment which items you liked, would love to see the shop through your eyes!

Best,

  2. This brocante shop was my favorite type, full but not stuffed wiith quite a variety of different interesting objects. Would have bought the delicate pink porcelaine table ware in a minute, but have to obey my rule of getting rid of one of my four sets as I'am now in a condo. The embroidered fine linen napkins looked yummy and one should always have extra sets. When you opened the drawer full of linens my heart leaped, and I'm not sure but the top towel with the beautiful red embroidery looked handwoven, even though it had a newish look? I saw no mid century or Deco merchandise, too popular or all in Paris? Thanks so much for the visit. P.S. I thought you should buy (or at least look at" a 4-5" dia. 2" legs, punched holes for a steamer, wrought iron, gizmo, in one of the windows, it would fit in with your ironstone pottery. 3. My passion as well. Ss a 2 year old zI would scavenge my grandparents trash pile,( no garbage pick up in the 1950s) to make my "Playhouse," beautiful with jars for vases to hold " weeds" as my flowers. My grandparents home was filled with all things from the early 1920s forward. I have one quilt of my great grandmother's and a lithograph that hung over her couch in the living room. When the house was broken upy grandmother retrieved that lithograph, reframed it and when she passed I retrieved it before anyone else grabbed it. It's one of my prized possession. It must be at least 100 years old. The scene is a wet ,rural tree lined road. Old things whether broken or well used tell stories . The Japanese repair broken ceramic with gold. Everything has value to be preserved. Thank you for sharing.🥰🙏💚

  4. Wonderful video!!!! Thank you for sharing!!! I love all the wooden spoons. My favorite is the little wooden spoon in the small pottery. It was so nice that they allowed You to film.

  5. Just found this channel, beautiful home you have, I would never be able to rent any of it out…I would want it all for myself! lol. Not trying to be mean, I reallllly wish there was no music.

  6. So many lovely items in Murial's shop. I would definitely picked up that short, chubby white jug/pitcher and a couple of the dishes with blue. I can almost predict what you will pick up to check out😊.

  7. Muriel, your obviously carefully curated shop is beautiful ! Im in the US so may never get to visit but vicariously it was a joy. Thank you.

  8. I love your channel. Just found you today and have already watched 3 videos. Thank for sharing France with us here is America. Your country is beautiful !

  9. Simply charming brocante! In love ❤ It's very hard to find such beautiful treasures where I live, for a pleasant price. Bravo!!

  10. Thank you lovely visit to Muriel shop, I would have bought the silver forks. Loved the drawer with all those napkins, tableware, etc. Beautiful items overall.❤

  11. I place I just want to visit!
But my French sucks 🤤. How do I get around in France with not enough speaking and understanding French?

  12. After watching many of your incredible adventures… and locations… I am now going to check out the distance from my Bastide of Domme to see if I can make it out your way… thank you for all that you share.

  13. Love your shop. I was an antique and vintage dealer for 30 years. Sadly where I live few people appreciate the finer things from the past . I have many mongrammed sheets etc still and no where to sell except online which does not appeal to me. So they are kept in storage. Sad🇨🇦

  14. Interesting, I also bought the crock, forks and spoons via your walkthrough. Again, thank you for bringing me along. I enjoyed our outing.

  15. I love looking at vintage French confit pots and stoneware crock. Would love to see more of it in your future brocante hunt 😊
