Welcome back to the channel today we are going to go have lunch over at Chef to FR yeah and if you like this kind of content make sure to subscribe to the channel let’s Go [Applause] l l all right now that we have a seat let’s take a look Around so it’s been a couple years since we have eight here and the men is definitely different and last time we were here we kind of sat over there in the main dining room this is actually my first time being on this side of the building almost always over back in that
Way and uh I’m kind of excited to see what comes out sad thing is is there’s no more steak bre on the menu which was what we like to get all the time they do still have a steak dish but it’s a little bit different it doesn’t come
With fries so maybe they’ll change it in the future we’ll see it’s butter time it’s good be even better than some french onion soup but I did not get that today so really good see what Ging I’m going to try the bread now this does come with your meal so that’s kind of nice unlik in Vegas when we at at the uh Paris hotel which you can check out in the show notes you had to pay for the bread good try a week
I love baguettes super crunchy on the outside really soft on the inside very well done really loved it so I’ve got a beer coming out and I’ll come and get you when it gets there I got the cronenburg beer it says 19 sorry 1664 give it a try
Not bad a good malt uh pop mixture there pretty tasty kind of like a logger that’s not that bad it’s a pretty good beer and I I really had to search the menu for it so definitely it is on the bottom of everything else cuz obviously
Wines and stuff are sort of their I don’t know settling Point here I guess lack of better terms our food did come out so everything kind of came out on top of each other so we’ll come and get you in a second when we start digging in for my meal I got the
Salmon so let’s give it a try it comes in a berry BL which is means white uh sauce it’s really good I don’t know the sauce isn’t have much of a flavor it’s a little bit sweet but there’s not much to it it also comes with rice peas and
Carrots it’s a solid rice and peas so overall not too bad am a little disappointed that they didn’t have the safe rats but NY got some beef so let’s see if she likes it okay so I got the the Biff bu something anyways I’ve had this before uh many many many years ago
When I came with Sarah and Joe um I got this I think this is what I got the first time I came here and I liked it a lot the only problem was is it was uh a very hot day it was very filling and um
It didn’t it didn’t sit quite great with me but it’s nice and chilly outside today and uh rainy and over casty so I felt like it was the perfect day for bra beef and that’s basically all it is it’s a braze beef with some carrots and
Onions and then it comes with a Linguini and then just kind of like this dark sauce so we’re going to try it all to together it’s very good honestly it’s seasoned perfectly I don’t know that I’ll eat all of it but it’s actually really good so if you’re looking for like a good
Alternative and you want some beef this is actually a good dish just probably not on a hot day so we’re going to eat up and we will come get you guys if we get some dessert and if not we’ll get you on the outside with our final Box it is crimber time and we are about to crack this and see how it cracks a she got a nice crack she got a nice CRA sounds so dirty anyways just a standard vanilla CR Brulee it just good let’s see a g Macy wanted me to lead with I’m a crola expert I can make creme brle and I’ve had a ton of creme brle we were actually a little full but we figured why not we’re in France we have to try the creme
Bray so it’s a vanilla bean CR brle like NY said let’s give it a Try you get that nice Custard in there it’s really smooth it’s really sweet it’s got that nice vanilla when you cook vanilla you kick and then you got the crunchiness from that caramelized sugar on top which is really good and nice and crunchy oh so good so good this in
Itself if you just want to come here and have some coffee and creme brolle definitely a recommendation so we’re going to finish up our dessert and we’ll come and get you on the outside for our final Thoughts All right that concludes our eating Adventure at Chef def France what’ you think it was good um it was not what we thought we were going to get because they’ve changed the menu but overall it was really good the service is still good the bread is still good
And there are still good dishes to be found it’s just you’re not going to get steak GS so don’t go in here thinking you’re going to get steak breats but overall not bad yeah I was a little disappointed I I did want my steak fre
Each I’m going to be honest with you uh but the salmon was good the sides were good um I just would say it’s not as exceptional as it used to be it used to be exceptional now it’s just kind of in the good category so you know in the
Future we’re excited to kind of revisit some of our old favorites see if they’re still our favorites fortunately I don’t know that this is going to still be on our top list but you guys will just have to stick around and subscribe to the channel and see where else we adventure
