Dear friends, this is the perfect song title for Christmas Eve as Santa Claus could be called ‘ Red Man’ , although very much tongue in cheek so I am releasing this on Christmas Eve to wish you all a Merry Christmas.
This the video I created by combining 2 black and white videos of ~Red Man~ performed by Barry Ryan and written by his twin brother Paul , this was released in 1971 on the same titled album. I added the sound of the remastered sound of the album from 1971 and it is with great thanks to Stefan and Erhard , 2 wonderful collectors from Germany who remastered the sound of these albums and were so kind to sent me these so I could share them with you all.
Please try and listen to this with good headphones or ear pods as I promise you it will sound amazing , especially considering that this song is 52 years old. Again a huge thank you to Stefan and Erhard for this sound. This is symphonic rock at its best and at its conception as Paul and Barry were pioneers for this sort of style.
I used 2 videos and added colours to those and used greenscreen ( no apps) as a backdrop and then combined the best footage of each video. One was a video from Spain which was great but sadly damaged and also had bullfight photos. I know Barry abhorred violence especially towards animals like this, as did Paul so I removed any of this footage and the other video was from French TV ( which was a great clip) but had writing all over it at times as it was a closing of the show clip, if it will ever be shown without those I would be thrilled. But due to the writing it had to be edited and so I decided to make one video of 2 and added a video of the night skies with stars etc as a backdrop.
This has been one of those songs I have loved since first hearing it in 1971 and time has only made me love it more. It is dramatic yet so witty.
In creating this video I wanted to honour Barry and Paul Ryan and remember them with such love . I feel blessed having met this sunny talented singer and he and Paul will be remembered with love and affection by fans.
I promised Barry I would never forget him and the memories of those golden days are treasured
forever in my heart. RIP

Liebe Freunde, dies ist der perfekte Songtitel für Heiligabend, da man den Weihnachtsmann auch „Roter Mann“ nennen könnte, wenn auch sehr ironisch, also veröffentliche ich ihn an Heiligabend, um euch allen frohe Weihnachten zu wünschen.
Dies ist das Video, das ich erstellt habe, indem ich zwei Schwarz-Weiß-Videos von „Red Man“ kombiniert habe, die von Barry Ryan gesungen und von seinem Zwillingsbruder Paul geschrieben wurden. Es wurde 1971 auf dem gleichnamigen Album veröffentlicht. Ich habe den Sound des remasterten Sounds des Albums von 1971 hinzugefügt und danke Stefan und Erhard, zwei wunderbaren Sammlern aus Deutschland, die den Sound dieser Alben remastered haben und mir diese so freundlich geschickt haben, damit ich sie mit ihnen teilen kann ihr alle.

Ich weiß, dass Barry Gewalt verabscheute, vor allem gegenüber Tieren wie diesem, genau wie Paul, also habe ich dieses gesamte Filmmaterial entfernt und das andere Video stammte vom französischen Fernsehen (was ein toller Clip war), war aber zeitweise mit Texten übersät, da es sich um den Abschluss handelte Der Showclip, wenn er jemals ohne diese gezeigt wird, wäre ich begeistert. Aufgrund des Schreibstils musste es jedoch bearbeitet werden, und so beschloss ich, ein Video von zwei zu machen und ein Video des Nachthimmels mit Sternen usw. als Hintergrund hinzuzufügen.
Dies ist eines dieser Lieder, die ich geliebt habe, seit ich es 1971 zum ersten Mal gehört habe, und mit der Zeit habe ich es nur noch mehr geliebt. Es ist dramatisch und doch so witzig.
Bei der Erstellung dieses Videos wollte ich Barry und Paul Ryan ehren und mich voller Liebe an sie erinnern. Ich fühle mich gesegnet, diesen sonnigen, talentierten Sänger kennengelernt zu haben, und die Fans werden sich mit Liebe und Zuneigung an ihn und Paul erinnern.
