Tonight, I had a company dinner organised in the boat house. It was a fine dinner with an amazing view. I saw there was a wedding party in the restaurant as well.
I had a set dinner tonight with three main courses. The entrée is nice Spanish mackerel (fish). It is fresh and I like the solid texture of the fish. With the sauce and vegetables, it was perfectly made. The two sides are chilli salt potatoes and green beans, and both were average. If the potatoes can be served with some sauces, I believe that it would taste better. For the main, free-range chicken beast, I would say it is average as well. Although it is not dry, the overall feeling may make you think about a $10 chicken sale in the supermarket. I would recommend the restaurant consider using another part of the chicken (eg: chicken thigh) and make the sauce stronger. For the desert, it was nice with a strong blood orange taste. The dacquoise was a perfect match with the ice cream.
Overall, the restaurant is perfect for dating or weddings. For the taste, based on the food I tried tonight, it was not the best based on the fine dinner price. It may need to try one more time to tell.
