Potatoes au gratin
Ingredients:
300 ml. Cream
1 kg Potatoes
1 tablespoon butter
150 gr. Gruyere cheese
100 gr. Parmesan cheese
2 cloves of garlic
A pinch of salt
A pinch of pepper
Fresh thyme
Recipe:
Place cream, garlic, salt, pepper and gruyere cheese in a bowl. Mix until combined. Add potatoes and mix until totally covered with cream mixture.
Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F
Peel the potatoes and thinly slice them. Use a slicer, if you have it.
Butter your baking dish and spread potatoes, then pour over remaining cream mixture. Sprinkle with more salt and pepper and garnish with fresh thyme.
Cover baking dish with foil, and bake for 1 hr 15 min or until the potatoes are soft.
Remove foil, sprinkle parmesan cheese on top and bake for 10-15 more minutes until potatoes turn golden. Let it cool for a couple of minutes and serve! Enjoy!
