The Christmas market tradition started in Germany and was adopted by neighboring European countries like France .
I love these markets at this time of the year because you get to buy and taste special foods and drinks like ‘hot wine’ and you get to go on rides that you could only find in amusement parks . All this good stuff at your fingertips in a beautifully decorated space full of excitement.
The markets are always anticipated and well attended all season long even when there’s a big national Strike ! The Christmas markets normally open mid or end of November until January 5th .
