Palomar specializes in Mediterranean cuisine, particularly seafood. Its unique yet relaxed atmosphere makes it an excellent choice for marking special occasions. Due to limited seating, it’s advisable to make reservations well in advance.
You can soak in the lively ambiance of the open-concept kitchen while dining here. Palomar’s bar stands out with an extensive wine list, a definite plus for those who enjoy a wide variety of selections.
For appetizers, the oysters and raw tuna were delightful, the grilled octopus tender and bursting with flavor, and the seafood salad proved to be quite tasty. As for the main course, we savored the fresh and subtly lemony Dover sole, while the monkfish also left a favorable impression.
A highlight at Palomar is their signature dish—a whole fish baked in salt. To conclude your meal, you have the choice of an apple tart or vanilla cheesecake with raspberries, among others.
You can dine either indoors or outdoors to suit your preference.
The restaurant also caters wonderfully to non-seafood eaters with options such as filet mignon or lamb chops.
