Hudson’s is one of the main dining rooms on Norwegian Viva and it offers a pretty extensive menu. It features a large static selection of dishes along with a small rotational menu for added variety. Plus, you have the ability to purchase up from the specialty restaurants if you wish to do so.
Here you can enjoy various international dishes, fully vegetarian and vegan options, as well as build-your-own-pasta by selecting an Italian noodle, sauce, and toppings of your choice.

Located at the aft of the ship on Deck 7, It features an ample and bright space with the capacity to accommodate larger groups.
When you dine at this restaurant you will have the opportunity to take in stunning, 270-degree views through floor to ceiling windows.
Gorgeous gold and crystal chandeliers, with leaf-shaped fronds, hang over the white tables and granite floor. They look like butterflies that flutter slightly when the ship is at sea.

Located on Deck 6 the commodore room is the second main dining room on Norwegian Viva. The menu from Hudson’s is also offered here. So you will find the same array of classic favorites and unique new dishes here.
The commodore is a comfortable, refined environment but in our opinion is not as beautiful as Hudson’s.

At both restaurants, breakfast has a good selection of hot and cold items, including fruit, cereal and yogurt as well as eggs, pancakes and French toast. Lunch offers soups, salads, sandwiches and hot entrees.
Dinner offers the broadest menu, with an extensive number of choices from categories including appetizers, soup and salad, vegetarian, from the sea, from the land, sides and desserts. We were happy with our picks in these restaurants, especially with the well-prepared sirloin and grilled mahi-mahi.

Considering this is a complimentary offer, the food and service here wowed us. These complimentary restaurants offer much higher quality dishes at the prima class ships than you can find at the other main dining rooms in the rest of the fleet.
