Hey everyone, I know I’ve been gone for a while, I’ve been caught up in summer travels and all the happenings, but I’m back and have a treat for you. Today’s wine is Confidence, by Chateau Bastor-Lamontagne. This white Bordeaux blend was absolutely incredible! I’ve had whites from the Bordeaux region before and they weren’t that exciting, but this blend hit different.
This wine drinks incredibly fresh and it’s cool to note that this wine was predominately a Sauvignon Blanc clonal variety, watch the full video for more details, as well as Semillon which is the popular white grape in this particular region of Bordeaux. Everything about this bottle screamed summer white, from its vibrant bouquet, fresh and fruity tasting notes, and incredible drinkability; I’ll be continuing to search this blend out year after year for my summer picks!
