Today I will share with you a recipe that my wife asks to cook every evening! I started preparing this recipe when I worked in one of the restaurants in the north of France, here it is a local dish that can be found in any traditional restaurant!
As always, I write for you all the necessary ingredients:
200 grams of dry white wine
White onion 1 pc
3 cloves garlic
Parsley bunch
Olive oil
1 kg of mussels in shells
Cream 25% – 200 grams
Salt, pepper
Method of preparation:
1. To begin, peel the white onion.
2. Clean 3 cloves of a particle. Crush and finely chop.
3. Cut the onion as I show on the video, not necessarily very finely.
4. Take a bunch of parsley and chop.
5. Place a large deep pan on the stove, over medium heat.
6. Pour the olive oil and sauté the garlic and onion for 2-4 minutes until golden brown.
7. Pour the mussels into the shells, wait until the liquid evaporates a little from them, if it is too much, you can drain a little.
8. Add white wine, salt, pepper, and half of all parsley.
9. Cover and be sure to cook until all shells open! This is very important! To prevent poisoning!
10. Add the cream and mix!
11. Add the rest of the parsley at the end, stir and taste!
12. Serve with french fries or croutons!
