In France, a private funeral will be held in the coming hours for Nahel M, the 17-year-old teenager who was killed by a police officer on Tuesday.
His death has led to riots in cities across France despite government efforts to contain them.
Protests turned violent again on Friday night, spiralling into looting and acts of vandalism.
More than 1,300 people have been arrested as tens of thousands of officers were deployed nationwide.
