Bio:
Orchids Roy Campbell is a Learning and Development Manager who has worked for and partnered with companies (principally Emirates Airlines) for many years to effectively manage and improve their service delivery, training practices and curriculums.
After spending years developing her expertise, overseeing company-wide learning strategies, creating course materials, and implementing various learning methods such as in-person coaching, e-learning courses, group workshops, and more, Orchids knows how to streamline a company’s L&D practice, applying both her technical and relational expertise to make the right decisions. With over five years of combined experience directing all aspects of companies’ learning strategies and operations, Orchids has excellent communication skills and know the importance of professionalism, customer service, and company image, grooming employees on how to put their best foot forward through both their behavior and their outward appearance.
She builds trust easily and maintains a keen understanding of company priorities and people, ensuring results are delivered in a timely manner.
Orchids is thoughtful, passionate, and willing to do what it takes to successfully create and execute learning programs from start to finish. Her knowledge gained by assessing organizational learning, conducting interviews and performance development plans, and developing unique training programs to fulfil role-specific training requirements has helped her better understand how to formulate effective learning strategies and communicate the proper information.
The responsibilities she has taken on in her career require not only a high degree of organization, but also a keen awareness of how a collaborative and creative nature is essential in this field. Her proven track record of successfully managing, developing, and training large teams, combined with her knack for building relationships, networking, and navigating fluid organizations, led to her success.
Orchids obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Silliman University, followed by her MBA from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business. She is a certified trainer and L&D professional, gaining her Level 5 Diploma in Learning and Development from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, as well as her IVQ Level 3 Advance Diploma in Teaching, Training, and Assessing Learning from City and Guilds.
Orchids is a self-motivated individual with a robust work ethic, taking ownership over her work with excellent time management skills. She is passionate about both personal and professional development and leads by example, pulling those around her in a positive trajectory.
Most recently, Orchids she launched her own coaching practice in Dubai `Etiquette for Everyone’ on March 1 and has since launched a series of Supper Clubs ` The Art of Dining, on April 15, 2023 featuring Chefs in Dubai.
